These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the QR Code Generator at qr-code.snapstatic.io ("the Service"), operated by SnapStatic. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

The QR Code Generator is a free, browser-based tool that creates QR codes for URLs, WiFi networks, vCards, email, SMS, and plain text, with optional colors, sizing, a logo overlay, and UTM tracking. The Service runs entirely in your browser — nothing you enter is sent to or stored by our servers. No account or registration is required.

2. Free to Use

The Service is provided free of charge. There are no paid tiers, credits, or purchase requirements. We reserve the right to modify, limit, or discontinue features with notice posted on the Service.

3. Disclaimer of Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that a generated QR code will scan correctly on every device or app — support for formats such as WiFi and vCard varies by phone, and adding a logo can reduce scannability. Always test your QR code before printing or distributing it.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Encode links to malware, phishing, or other harmful or unlawful content
• Automate requests in a way that places unreasonable load on the Service
• Attempt to probe, scan, or exploit the Service or its infrastructure
• Circumvent or interfere with any security or access controls

We reserve the right to block or rate-limit access for any user who violates these rules or abuses the Service.

5. Your Responsibility for Generated Output

You are solely responsible for the content you encode and for how you distribute the resulting QR code. SnapStatic has no visibility into the content of your QR codes and accepts no liability for how they are used or where they lead.

6. Intellectual Property

The QR codes you generate belong to you. The SnapStatic name, logo, and Service design are our intellectual property. Nothing in these Terms grants you a license to use our trademarks or branding.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SnapStatic shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data or business interruption. Because the Service is provided free of charge, our total liability for any claim shall not exceed zero dollars (USD $0.00).

8. Service Availability

We strive to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be unavailable due to maintenance or circumstances beyond our control. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service with reasonable notice.
